How each five-year total is calculated
ERPNext — 510,000 ETB: ABC PLC pays 180,000 ETB once for implementation and 66,000 ETB each year for the selected hosting setup. Year 1 costs 246,000 ETB because it includes both. Each of Years 2–5 costs 66,000 ETB. The total is 180,000 + (66,000 × 5). There is no per-user ERPNext software license fee.
Odoo Community — 485,000 ETB: implementation costs 155,000 ETB once, with the same 66,000 ETB annual hosting assumption. Year 1 costs 221,000 ETB, followed by 66,000 ETB each year. The total is 155,000 + (66,000 × 5). The Community edition has no per-user software license fee.
Odoo Enterprise Standard — 155,000 ETB + $5,166: the ETB amount is DreamTech’s one-time implementation fee. The USD amount pays for 10 user licenses. With annual billing, the first-year rate of $7.25 per user per month gives $870 for the year. The renewal rate of $8.95 gives $1,074 in each of Years 2–5. Five years of licenses total $870 + ($1,074 × 4) = $5,166. Odoo Online hosting is included.
Odoo Enterprise Custom plan — 155,000 ETB + $9,480: the one-time implementation fee stays the same, but this plan has higher per-user licensing. For 10 users, $13.40 per user per month gives $1,608 in Year 1; $16.40 gives $1,968 per year afterward. Five years of licenses total $1,608 + ($1,968 × 4) = $9,480. This example uses included Odoo Online hosting; Odoo.sh hosting would be a separate cost.
Dream Custom ERP — 330,000 ETB: ABC PLC pays 280,000 ETB once for the system and 10,000 ETB per year for the selected local TeleCloud cPanel shared-hosting plan. Year 1 costs 290,000 ETB; each later year costs 10,000 ETB. The total is 280,000 + (10,000 × 5). There are no per-user software fees or recurring software subscriptions.
Dream Custom ERP has the highest starting system price in this example, but its lower selected hosting cost produces the lowest ETB-only five-year total. Shared hosting must fit your workload; DreamTech also supports your own server or another provider.

Which ERP should ABC PLC choose?
ERPNext: start here if accounting, purchasing, sales, inventory and manufacturing follow mostly standard processes. Configuration may cover your needs without building a new system.
Odoo Community: choose it when the available modules cover your requirements and you have a clear hosting and maintenance plan.
Odoo Enterprise: choose Standard when the standard apps fit and you want included online hosting. Evaluate the Custom plan for Studio, multi-company or external API needs. Odoo’s Custom plan is different from DreamTech’s custom-built ERP.
Dream Custom ERP: choose it for company-specific workflows, approvals, integrations and business rules. Accounting, sales and CRM, inventory, and manufacturing modules are available. Your company owns the system, with no per-user software fees or recurring software subscription.
If an established ERP already handles your important processes well, custom development may be unnecessary. Lower hosting cost alone should not decide the purchase.
Test your workflow before deciding
Give every provider the same process: customer order → material check → purchasing approval → production → warehouse → delivery → invoice. Ask what works already, what needs customization, and who maintains it.
